"The R-naught number for two regions was around 1.00 and is now showing a decline. The actual seven-day average for Selangor is 2,359 while in Kuala Lumpur it is 781. Ismail said the decision was made by the National Security Council today in view of the fact that new cases in Selangor were in the "1,800 to 1,900" range, while in Kuala Lumpur it was between "600 to 1,000". He said further details would be released on the National Security Council website. There was no specific mention of the courts.
